Original Art

From drawing and painting to making books, here’s what I’ve been up to lately…

Studio practice

I am an Atlanta-based artist whose studio practice is rooted in the expressive language and colors of flowers. From whimsical and bold to meditative and soft, my loose floral-inspired acrylic and watercolor paintings explore how flowers help us slow down, celebrate, grieve, love and connect with one another.

I transform many of my paintings into handmade books that offer a tactile, transportable space for collecting ideas, playing, noticing, and expressing. My work considers the relationship between creation and connection, presence and change, keeping and letting go.
